The Early Days of Photography in Stunning 19th Century Images

Here are unique photographs documenting life in the 19th century. Among them are portraits that provide insight into the fashion and interior design of the time. Not only the images are interesting, but also the process of creating them. Don't forget that the first lenses were imperfect; shooting required bright lighting and long shutter speeds. In addition, photographs were not printed on paper at all, but on metal or glass plates.
